HONG KONG CRAFTS

The "Hong Kong Crafts" project was developed during a two-day excursion to the PolyU Design School in Hong Kong. Our group of design students from the Muthesius school of arts has worked there with the Hong Kong students on a topic that has dealt with local stores and handicrafts.

My Chinese partner and me have developed an app that helps users to find workshops and material workshops in Hong Kong. Over many of these workshops and shops there is just a little information to find, so it is difficult to look for a particular service or product that is locally produced.

The app allows you to search for a specific service, material or product. Therefor you can either browse the map or enter a search term directly. In addition, the shops can be saved in a favorite list and new shops can be added.
